FAQ’s

Making products that have NO added nasties and are 100% Natural is very satisfying as you know exactly what you are putting on your skin. Although there still may be questions you have…

How often should I use the Coffee Scrub?
I would suggest approximately 1 – 2 times a week. If you have dry skin, start at once a week and twice a week if you have oily skin. Everybody’s skin behaves differently and I would avoid aggressive scrubbing as there is a risk of too much exfoliation. This would leave your skin dry. To ensure this doesn’t happen, rub softly in a circular motion.

I don’t really like coffee, does it smell like coffee?
Yes, as coffee is the main ingredient in the body scrub it does smell like coffee. Although the coconut oil smell shines through aswell.

Will the Clay Face Masks stain my skin?
Any one of the Clay’s will not stain your skin if used correctly. After rinsing the clay off your skin, it may appear slightly pink. This is due to the Clays drawing out all of the nasties from your pores. Your skin will settle anywhere from 10 – 30 minutes.

Will the Coffee Scrub stain my skin?
If you have fair skin, it could leave a soft stain but will wash away. If you are worried about a possible stain, I would suggest a patch test before use.

I have sensitive skin, what clay mask should I use?
As all of the clays are 100% pure and Natural, any of these clays would be beneficial for sensitive skin.

Should I mix all the clay up at once?
If you wanted to use it all at once over your face and body – then yes! Although if you just wanted to use it on your face, I would make enough for just one application at a time (about 1/3 of the clay powder) as the clay will dry up and harden once mixed with liquid.

Can I use the Clay Mask and/or Coffee Scrub all over my body?
Yes Absolutely! Just avoid the eye area.

Should I apply anything to my skin after use?
For best results, sparingly apply your favourite moisturising cream.
